LEGASEA Mentorship is the first industry-wide mentoring program for career-focused yachting professionals.
Designed to remove the luck of the draw from career progression and opportunities, members connect with Mentees, Mentors and Peers shoreside and at sea. Utilising a high-impact, intuitive mentoring software, organic connections are cultivated via the comprehensive online platform. Individuals can be both a Mentor and Mentee, creating a circular knowledge economy ensuring every participant gains incredible value while engaging.

​This year, the LEGASEA Mentorship program has been made possible thanks to the support of Quay Crew and Burgess. In addition to co-funding the initiative, each company will be providing scholarship seats to the up and coming talent within their fleet’s and networks.

​Based on the feed back from the 6 month pilot program, LEGASEA Mentoring features have enjoyed a huge upgrade. Now hosted both on a desktop and IOS/ android app, opportunity, networking and support have never been more accessible.

Whether from the shore or at sea, all Legasea Mentors are united by the common goal of seeing our industry at its best, and the desire to be part of leaving it better than they found it.
Many of our current Mentors have shared they feel a responsibility to give back to an industry that has given them so much. Many have also shared that they have grown personally and professional themselves from connecting with their Mentees. With the option for all our Mentors to also find a Mentor of their own, many have expanded their personal networks, understanding and expertise along the way.
